The parish church of St. Laurentius has existed in its present form since 1879/80.
The parish church of St. Laurentius has existed in its present form since 1879/80. It is already the third church to be built on this site. Little is known about the first building. The second, a Romanesque church from the 13th century, was demolished except for the tower due to its dilapidation. With the new building of rubble stone, the tower was raised; today it forms the first two storeys of the north tower. The church is also called the "Siegtaldom"; it is the only double-towered church in the Rhine-Sieg district.
