Healing fountain legend:
A noblewoman's daughter passed by this spring and took a last rest before the monastery in Herchen. She was blind, drank the water from the spring and was able to see again shortly afterwards. On this occasion, the monastery in Herchen had this spring enclosed as a fountain and other similar miracles are said to have occurred after this event.
